We are team of coaches with a sport university degree, specialists in sport psychology and physical condition training and before all – top sportsmen. We decided to join and to lead this tennis academy with the goal-oriented development of young players. Our values are discipline, professionalism, expertise, partnership and tourist access to tennis.

Agon tennis academy offers a superb individual approach, detailed diagnostic testing and analysis, fitness and psychological training for young talented tennis players. Our methodology is focused to excellence and passion for the sport.

Our team

Marko Vižintin, prof.
Head coach
Marko is kinesiology profesor specialized in tennis coaching and owner of a tennis coach licence from Croatian National Tennis Association. Marko has more than 14 years of experience in tennis coaching. During his entire career he managed to gain enormous experience in tennis. Most advanced coaching experience was made working in as a coach in Goran Ivanišević’s PRO CAMP Tennis Academy in Umag for young talented Croatian tennis players, such as for example Borna Devald. Marko is a founder and a president of the Tennis Club Viži where he works and trains domestic talented players.

Luka Vidović
Tennis coach
Luka has 14 years of experience as a tennis coach. As a former player, he transfers his knowledge to both junior competitors and recreational players. He has been working at TC Prečko in Zagreb and Umag Tennis Academy. His main focus is on high quality training process and sports pedagogy of children.

Tonči Badurina
Tennis coach
Tonči is experienced tennis professional and former player, who is coaching every day with the same enthusiasm from day one. Working with people of all age and level groups from all over the world, he keeps his lessons fresh and innovative. He has been working in Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, Russia and Paraguay. Trying to get better every day with great dedication he is constantly exploring and learning new ways to transfer and to acquire knowledge from and to others.

Matija Vuković, prof.
Tennis coach
Matija is master of kinesiology, former player and tennis coach with experience of 10 years. In his career he was a Croatian team champion in 2008. and he won a lot of tournaments in Croatia. He was in America at camp for 3 months and there amassed a lot of knowledge together with education in the Faculty of Kinesiology elective module tennis in Zagreb. He worked in TK Ogulin, and now working in others clubs in Zagreb where he expanding its energy on young generations and future champions.

Zoran Margetić

Zoran Margetic is highly educated and experienced film and television director. He is the author of numerous feature and documentary films and series, big music and show events  (mostly HRT), as well as numerous commercial projects, music videos, tv-commercials and industrial image films. As a former tennis player he brought together his work expertise and knowledge in tennis to T-Rec project, professional video analysis.

Sports medicine, biomechanical and specific diagnostic
One of the region’s most distinguished scientists and experts in the fields of sports science and sports medicine, applied physiology, and motor control. He was awarded two state prizes for science in recognition of his exceptional scientific achievements. He has served as a physical conditioning coach/consultant for many athletes, clubs and national teams. He has helped many of his clients to rebuild their motor control and locomotor functions following musculoskeletal injuries. He has attended a number of prestigious international seminars and formal education training sessions and has been invited to speak at top international scientific and professional conferences. He serves as the director of Motus Melior and coordinates all of its departments.

dr. sc. Renata Barić, sport psychologist
Psychological preparation and training
Renata Barić is sport psychologist and professor at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Kinesiology since 1996. She graduated and finished her Master’s Degree in kinesiology at Faculty of Kinesiology, graduated psychology at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and finished Master’s Degree as well as Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She created and is currently teaching numerous Modules in the area of sport and exercise psychology (Psychology of Sport and Exercise, Children in Sport, Motor Learning, Psychology of Leadership and Motivation, Elements of Psychology). She also works as an External Associate Professor at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb, Department of Psychology, as well as several other Universities in Croatia where she teaches Sport Psychology Modules. She published more than 200 scientific and professional articles, one book, and 4 book chapters. She actively participates in numerous conferences and symposiums. She is founder and chief of the Laboratory for sport psychology and diagnostics at the Institute of Kinesiology as well as head of Section for Sport and Exercise Psychology at Croatian Psychological Association. She finished Level 3 training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as many sport psychology and psychodiagnostic education.  For the last 10 years, Renata is working as a sport psychologist with many elite level and perspective young athletes from around 40 different sports, as well as collaborating with clubs and coaches. She was a part of team supporting Quad Skull rowing team at Olympic games in London 2012 (silver medal) as well as part of team supporting water polo national team in Rio 2016 (silver medal). Until today, she worked with 30 athletes participating at the Olympic games. Currently, she is part of the supporting team for water polo national selection working towards Olympic games in Tokyo 2020 as well as all younger water polo national selections.

Maja Katinić
Marketing and Client success manager
Maja has 10 years in education and training, mainly in youth sector. She has experience in business development, marketing and IT. Using new approaches in learning as a tool for skills development, Maja helps clients to reach their full potential. She works closely with young entrepreneurs and startup companies.
